The Battle of Thuringia: AfD and the Threat to Democracy in

Insanity in Germany. The German federal government is attempting to strip fundamental rights from AfD politician Björn Höcke due to his political views. This process is unprecedented in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Since its inception over 10 years ago, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) has faced intense and constant media scrutiny.
The Battle of Thuringia
Not a day goes by without the German press launching attacks against the AfD. The latest campaign against the Alternative for Germany, the largest opposition party in Germany, now garnering support from almost 25% of the German population, revolves around a fabricated story claiming that AfD politicians gathered in a supposedly secret meeting to discuss the deportation of millions of people from Germany. The source cited is the news magazine “Correctiv.”
However, Correctiv is a left-extremist entity directly funded by the German federal government—a collection of propagandists whose primary function is to discredit democratic opposition through smear articles. It is no coincidence that information about the alleged secret meeting, which took place in 2023, is now released just months before a crucial state election in Thuringia. According to current polls, the Alternative for Germany is poised to win a decisive majority in the upcoming Thuringian election. The German government, hostile to the people’s choice, is in sheer panic and is pulling out all the stops to prevent Björn Höcke from becoming the Minister President of Thuringia. They present themselves as the virtuous side, yet fail to realize they employ methods reminiscent of the National Socialists while claiming to combat them.
We await the unfolding events of the coming weeks and months with keen interest and will, of course, report on them here.
Stay tuned.
